Destiny they say is by choice not by chance! Today, Filipino patriots worldwide are finally awakening to the Philippines’ call for true democracy…a government that is for, of, and by the Filipino people!

Ironically, since gaining independence in 1946 (62 years ago), this nation, the only Christian citadel in the Far East has now become the second (some say the top) most corrupt country in the whole world!

Is it because of the 10% rich, maintaining political power to safeguard their vested interest, a significant number of them grafters and corrupt politicians? Is it because of the 70% poor who have lost their will to fight for truth and justice and who have succumbed to vote selling during election time? Is it because of the apathy and cynicism of the remaining 20% intellectual middle class, who sees these gross government excesses but decides to do nothing? …and, is it also because the Church has neglected to mediate, educate and lead its “misguided flock” remaining non-committal and watching on the sidelines in the fight for truth and justice?

Sadly, all foregoing statements of transgressions and omissions have greatly contributed to the moral decadence and resultant corruption and massive poverty in the Philippines!

Today however, two great “miracles” have happened that may predictably help heal the ills of our society!

We refer to none other than

1.) The Gawad Kalinga program spearheaded by Tony Meloto with its holistic upliftment and empowerment of the underserved;

2.) Among Ed Panlilio’s recent election as governor of Pampanga, who now serves as role model for political evangelization and total cleansing of the Philippine government from graft and corruption!
The valiant challenge of the Dollar Moral Crusade against graft and corruption of Filipino United Network Chairman, Dr. Philip S. Chua, is gaining momentum overseas. This in itself is every Filipino’s moral battle against corruption! We do not believe in choosing the lesser of two evils! Such will only promote and aggrandize the never-ending government graft and corruption still entrenched in our Motherland! We do not have choose an evil at all. Being lesser greedy or lesser corrupt is still greedy and corrupt. It is not a matter of degree. It is either good or evil.

And if Good is to triumph over Evil; it is imperative that all of our committed leaders join forces, unite, work together in solidarity, and speak with one voice!

Keenly aware of the power of the pen over the sword, let us encourage our Filipino brothers and sisters to use their personal influence and connections to motivate the media to support and spread our clamor for the return of moral values, justice, integrity, decency, transparency and accountability to the Philippine government.

United as a people, guided by God’s enduring love, enlightened by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, strengthened by prayers and fortified by a passion to bring Truth and justice to the Philippine government during our lifetime, all Filipino patriots from all walks of life have this once in a lifetime opportunity to come together and network with us, speak up, support and defend good, moral, honest and ethical government officials and assist in the Philippine Nation Rebuilding.

Yes – it is time for all Filipino patriots to get INVOLVED and come to the aid of our fledgling nation, raped by political corruption and graft. To do nothing is a sin of omission against God and country!

With courage, patriotism, persistence and resilience, the Filipino people can oust bad elements from the government and move our country forward through good and honest governance! Only then can we say that “We, the Filipino Patriots, have chosen a Great Destiny for our Motherland!
